Divine incarnation never could and never will take place in a hotel or or in an apartment representing the spirit of comfortable facility of a high tech civilization. (Of course, in reality, there is no limitation for Divine incarnation at all. But as a symbolized story, as Christmas is, this limitation is needed as a symbol as set forth hereinafter).
The human being cannot get born, grown, breeded and evolve as a result of successful breeding under scientific and normative control.
Under said facticiously imposed condition the originally human nature gets distorted to a self-alienated and thereby dirigible subject, drilled to accept privileges and threats (carrot-and-stick) and obey slavers.
The shepherds in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night (Luk. 2.8), are not a symbol of wildness, animality, ignorance or simple-mindedness but symbolize the true human care and managment of the world and it’s creatures (Gen. 1,28) in accordance with the intuitions of the incarnated spirit; they symbolize the mastery of individuals made in the image of God, understanding the Angel’s messages and bare of and not needing any trappings to herald their native authority, born free and knowing theit human task.
